Top 10 Performances of EPL Gameweek 34

April 26, 2026

Martin Odegaard

Overall a light scoring week as only Odegaard & Wirtz's performances would have cracked the top 10 last week. Odegaard was the best value pick of the week and had one of the top 20 ball progression games of the season, but you wouldn't know it based on the Twitter discourse about his performance today. To be fair while watching the game live it really did feel like Odegaard was constantly in possession while simultaneously not really making anything happen. He had a couple huge missed opportunities where he just made the wrong decision and it felt like he left a couple goals on the field today.

It's only his 2nd EPL game back from injury so I'm going to chalk it up to being a bit rusty. That being said, leading the weekend in scoring and his team to a win while looking rusty is a great sign for both Odegaard and Arsenal heading into the last few weeks of the season.

Arsenal fans to Odegaard about delivering them the title this year:

Florian Wirtz

Wirtz had his 3rd most productive game of the season as he gets a GC for the hockey assist on the Robertson goal and bangs home a goal off a phenomenal touch by Mac Allister. He wasn't as productive as he typically is from a shot creation perspective against Palace's 6th ranked defense, but he did more than enough to lead Liverpool to the 3-1 win.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall

Dewsbury-Hall has been on fire since the beginning of March and has lit up everyone outside of Arsenal & Liverpool. He didn't really seem like he was taking full advantage of West Ham's horrendous defense, but finally made some magic happen to tie the game up in the 88th minute.

Pedro Porro

Tottenham squeaked by Wolves 1-0 thanks to Palhinha's goal off Porro's corner in the 82nd minute. Porro was once again Tottenham's primary creative force as Xavi Simons drastically underperformed expectations. Porro's 23 points has him pass Van Hecke to become the #1 DF and he moves into #8 overall. If Tottenham gets relegated, Porro deserves none of the blame.

El Hadji Malick Diouf

What a name and what a game from El Hadji Malick Diouf. Diouf gets the GC for the hockey assist on the Callum Wilson goal in stoppage time to keep West Ham out of a relegation spot. Phenomenal cross into Bowen to create the goal.

Sasa Lukic & Ryan Sessegnon

Lukic makes his 2nd start after returning from a serious hamstring injury and makes a splash as the 2nd best value pick of the week. Both Lukic & Sessegnon were involved in the lone goal from Fulham / Villa when Castagne played in a cross to Lukic, Lukic put a header on net that was saved, and Sessegnon banged home the rebound.

No writeups for the under 20 point scorers. Next weekend's match should be a bit more interesting as we'll have 7 matches compared to 5 from this week.
