Quick hit analysis
- Wirtz & Szoboszlai have completely swapped roles over the past 4 weeks. Wirtz averaging 22 FPPG over the past 4, up from his season average of 14.4. Szoboszlai 13.9 over the same period, down from 21. Gakpo's impact should only increase with Ekitike out.
- Cherki has absolutely exploded over his last 6 games averaging 26.4 FPPG. So much fun to watch.
- Bruno continues his MVP run. Not only is he the top player in the league by a mile, he contributes the largest individual share of team production of anyone in the league. Just give him the trophy now.
- Arsenal continues to crumble as Saka has been out and Declan Rice has technically been playing but has had an absolute absence of impact over the past 2 weeks. Ødegaard had a solid yet rusty return against Man City & Newcastle. These 3 need to figure it out quickly against Fulham.
- Enzo has been such a consistent high-floor contributor for Chelsea. Top 5 player in the league this season, complemented by Pedro Neto who's also in our Top 10. Would've loved to see what this team could've done with a full year of healthy Cole Palmer.
- Bournemouth needs more out of Rayan. Good to see him find the net last week.
- Pascal Groß is my boy. Love his game. Van Hecke lost his #1 DF slot to Pedro Porro last week and needs to regain his early season form.
- Bruno Guimarães is the heartbeat of this Newcastle squad. Great to see him back and playing well.
- Fulham hasn't gotten much outside of Wilson & Iwobi.
- Morgan Gibbs-White is on fire and is our #6 ranked player of the season.
- Mathias Jensen just erupted against Man U with a top 20 performance of the season — goal, 10 shot creations, and 16 progressive actions.
- Stach has been out for 3 weeks so not much to say here.
- Morgan Rogers runs so hot and cold. Needs to find some consistency.
- Pedro Porro continues to be at the epicenter of everything offensively for Tottenham. That's not a sentence any Tottenham fan wants to read.
- Palace's offense is putrid.
- Garner & Dewsbury-Hall continue to play well while getting 0 help from their forwards outside of Beto.
- Love Granit Xhaka. So consistent and so good.
- Jarrod Bowen continues to put West Ham on his back. El Hadji Malick Diouf has been playing great from the back line.
- Wolves really do deserve to be relegated.
- Burnley's keeper has more progressive actions than any of their midfielders. Woof.
